Mutation March 2019

Year two! Mutation March is officially an annual event! That is how it works, right? Anyway. This marked the beginning of a couple traditions. First, the challenge would include a few core prompts that would be featured every year because I have a lot of fun with them. Cephalopod, giraffe, arachnid, tardigrade, elephant (later retired from the core prompts after 2021 as to not be too mammal-centric), and horse. Second, the challenge would always begin with “cephalopod” and end with “horse,” because I find cephalopods to be easy inspiration, and horses are notoriously a difficult subject to draw.
